    The primary focus of the HILS team is to validate system ECUs by conducting thorough hardware and software tests using actual components. By providing a virtual vehicle system, HILS enables the validation of various real conditions and real-time complex situations. HIL simulation also allows for testing scenarios that would otherwise result in damage or destruction of the real system or vehicle. This process is closely tied to failure model and effects analysis.

    Through HIL simulation, the performance of control systems in response to different failure modes can be effectively evaluated. This makes HIL simulation a powerful technique for enhancing the safety of vehicles and systems. By utilizing HILS simulation during the early stages of the design phase, we can achieve cost-effective solutions that minimize implementation efforts while ensuring a higher level of safety and stability for the vehicle or system.
