Automated Driving Control Unit (ADCU)
HL Klemove’s Tech Center India (TCI) plays a key role in advancing next-generation Automated Driving Control Units (ADCU), which act as the central intelligence for autonomous vehicles. The team develops robust, scalable software platforms aligned with global standards such as AUTOSAR, ASPICE, and ISO 26262 Functional Safety.
Engineering responsibilities span end-to-end Basic Software (BSW) and application development, supported by rigorous validation and verification frameworks. Through extensive unit, integration, and system-level testing, the TCI ensures reliable performance across diverse driving conditions and continuous optimization throughout the product lifecycle.
The ADCU enables Level 2 to Level 4 autonomy, supporting advanced features such as Highway Driving Assistance, automated lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, and real-time sensor fusion. By integrating data from cameras, radar, LiDAR, and ultrasonic sensors, the platform enables instant decision-making for safe maneuvering, emergency responses, and redundancy-driven fail-safe operation from ASIL-B to ASIL-D.
Automated Parking Control Unit (APCU)
HL Klemove’s Tech Center India (TCI) is a driving force behind the “Sense-Think-Act” paradigm, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL) to deliver next-generation Automated Parking solutions. The team manages the complete data lifecycle, including recording, curation, automated annotation, and synthetic data augmentation to maximize model accuracy and robustness.
Technical expertise includes the development of multi-modal neural networks capable of processing diverse sensor inputs for safety-critical applications such as parking assistance, object tracking, and scene refinement. These deep learning models are optimized, ported, and migrated to automotive-grade edge devices, ensuring compatibility with leading semiconductor platforms while maintaining high performance.
To meet strict real-time and functional safety requirements, development follows AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 (ASIL) standards, supported by exhaustive unit, integration, and system validation.
